3年5か月振りの発売です。お持ちでない方は、この機会にぜひ備えておきたいルアーです。
サイズはプラポッパーとサッチモホーンの間。非常に甲高いラトル音を発生し、カップもしっかり掘ってあるので、ポプポプと釣れそうなポップ音と飛沫を出せます。

浮き姿勢は水平に近く、非常にターンさせやすくなっています。
今回はリアフックにフラッシャーが装着されているので、バスへのアピール、バイトの誘発はもちろん、ターンのし過ぎも防ぎます。
また、今回はカップのコーティングが強化されているので、カップのエッジは非常に薄いですが、ぶつけてもいないのにドンドン削れるような事は無いでしょう。

"BAL POPPER"
This is a standard popper made from balsa wood, sized perfectly between a plastic popper and a Satchmo Horn. When I pick it up, its lightness and high-pitched rattling sound bring back memories from long ago. The cup is deeply carved, producing a satisfying popping sound and a subtle splash on the surface. For me, that alone is enough. These days, thanks to the Val Popper, I find myself reaching for plastic poppers less and less.

It floats almost horizontally, making it exceptionally easy to turn. I’ve attached a flasher to the rear hook—not only does it add a subtle appeal for the fish, but it also gently keeps the lure from over-rotating. In a way, this small innovation seems to tip the balance of the world, if only slightly.

This time, I also strengthened the cup’s coating. Like the Satchmo Horn, its edge is incredibly thin, but now I’m sure it won’t wear down so easily for no reason.
